Because of our hormonal changes during menopause we start to feel like maybe an alien has been down to take control of our bodies and we don’t recognize ourselves anymore.

If you see menopause like a second puberty, I’m with you.

And it’s a change that we don’t talk about…

And we don’t talk about it because it happens to women.

From feeling frustrated and hopeless, women like you want to maintain a happy weight and excellent health…

Without counting calories, struggling with fatigue, pushing through hunger and feeling deprived of desserts.

We want feeling confident and empowered working with the body to be as easy as walking.

But sometimes walking alone is not helpful.

Growing up, I was very athletic and I still am.

But when menopause hit me, I couldn’t escape the 50 pounds I gained.

At least not overnight.

I did exercise programs like P90X and Insanity.

I didn’t really lose much weight.

And I was like, “Okay. Something is missing.”

What works?

If I can help you shorten the gap right now…

The one thing I can tell you is get your diet under control first.

And I’m telling you I heard this over and over and it took me 15 years to really hear it.

Exercise is not a weight loss tool.

It’s a health tool.

Exercise is like the icing on the cake.

I talk more about that in today’s podcast episode with board certified holistic nutritionist and functional nutrition, and lifestyle practitioner, Amy White.

Amy’s Hangry to Healthy approach to health and weight loss creates a level of metabolic balance that naturally promotes great health and a happy body weight.

During our interview we talked about the role exercise plays in weight loss (and it’s not what you think) PLUS:
– What is board certification for a nutritionist
The history of Hangry to Healthy and how it started
– What happened to make Amy need to go to nutritionist school and why
– What food really is
– How to get rid of the body fat
– The number one reason people fail on a keto or low carb diet
– The Think-Feel-Act Cycle
– When to eat

And stay to the end to find out how to make intermittent fasting easy.

For those of you who really want to get your body back, we’re here to support you.

Tune in to this episode today and know the most important aspects of diet while removing all the fluff!
