There’s a lot of different breathing practices and techniques.
Some are for relaxation, stress reduction, sleeping better, while some of them are energizing.
But there’s breathwork that is more intense.
It heals past traumas and clears suppressed emotions.
Emotions are energy too.
Everytime we swallow our emotions because we’re afraid of conflict, it gets in the tissues of our bodies and what happens is we try to have relationships…
But the pain doesn’t go away, so we walk around with layers upon layers of repressed emotions.
Here’s a good thing though: the body holds onto trauma but it can also heal itself.
Each one of us has access to the divine inside of us.
And I talk more about that in today’s podcast with sought after spiritual teacher, personal transformation coach and leading voice in the breathwork community, Christian de la Huerta.
Christian has traveled the world offering inspiring and transformational retreats, combining psychological and spiritual teachings with inspiring and changing effects. He’s an award winning and critically acclaimed author and TEDx speaker.
His new book, Awakening the Soul of Power was described by multiple Grammy award winner, Gloria Estefan, as a balm for the soul of anyone searching for truth and answers to life’s difficult questions.
On today’s show, we talk about Christian’s mission and how he got started PLUS:
– Healing past traumas with breathwork
– Why we need a guide to get started with transformational breathwork
– Breathwork versus conventional modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy
– Breathwork versus meditation
– Reconciling Western religion, spirituality, and sexual orientation
– Where’s the sacred and how to access that?
– Stepping into power
Transformation is something we all seek at various times in our lives and it’s possible.
Tune in today and find out how you can heal your body, step into power, and even connect to the divine through breathwork!
